The central staircase, original to the house, includes a narrow defensive opening (“espitllera”) once used to repel bandit attacks.

Most of the interior and exterior walls are original, built from sandstone and mortar, some over 75 cm thick. The stonework framing doors and windows, as well as preserved window seats and original wrought iron grilles, highlight the historical significance of the property. The traditional Catalan-style roof (with beams, laths, tiles, and ridge tiles) is also original, though reinforced.
